Betty Jo Hall Tingle, age 91 of Cordova, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Union Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Charlie Walker will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clint and Estell Hall and her husband-Bennie Tingle.
She married Bennie Tingle on October 26, 1946 and they had four children: Patsy Kelly (Jimmy), Bonnie Walker (Charlie), Michael Tingle and Janet Tingle. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren knew her as “Granny Tingle”. She had four grandchildren-Kathy Lee (Ron), Andy Hitchcock (Sam), Angela McGuire (Danny) and Bettina Walker (Dan). Her great grandchildren include Madison Westbrook, Marianne Hall (Chad), Zachary Hitchcock, Emily Hitchcock, Erik McGuire (Cheryene) and Connor McGuire. She is also survived by her brother Ray Hall and her niece Donna Herron.
