Mrs. Lesta Shannon passed away February 3, 2022 at her home. Services are incomplete with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson.
She was born in Memphis, TN March 14, 1926, daughter of the late John Lester and Maggie Mae Webb Paulk. She grew up in Memphis and graduated from Central High School in 1944.
She married George Shannon and December 4, 1945 and they made their home in Memphis. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She worked as a secretary for all of her career.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Johnson of Saltillo, TN and Kay Ford of Lebanon, TN; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brother, Harry Allen Paulk; and sisters, Jane Nunnelee and Jean Davis.
There will be no services.
