Margaret Annette Banks, age 81 of Jasper, Alabama made her transition from this life to her eternal home on Friday, January 28, 2022, she was at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Banks, better known as MawMaw, was an excellent cook. She kept her family well fed and taken care of. Mrs. Banks had a generous heart and selfless spirit.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Assembly of God, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with graveside ceremony immediately following at Bennett Cemetery. Ronny Thompson and Bill Martin will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years-Billy Joe Banks; Mother-Carrie Chandler; Sisters-Ruth Benjamin and Betty Key; Brothers-Floyd Breed and Lynn Breed.
She is survived by her Daughter-Donna Kilgore (Carl); Sons-Randy Banks and Dennis Banks (Beth); Daughter-Denise Thompson (Ronny); Sister-Judi Parnell (Larry); 12 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Banks, Eric Thompson, Ryan Banks, Adam Thompson, Jeremiah Banks, Lee Brown, Eric Madison, Joseph Cook, Justin Stephenson and Charlie Waits.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Woodard and Isaac Woodard.
