Rickey Dean Shetters Sr, age 62 of Estill Springs, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Vanderbilt-Harton Medical Center in Tullahoma. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 19, 1959. A welder by trade, Rickey had been employed during his work career at Metal Fabrication for fifteen years, Henley Supply, and Adventure Build Pontoon Boats. A “jack of all trades,” he was good working with his hands, building things, and working on cars. He enjoyed listening to classic country music and in the last few years had tended a garden. An avid sports fan, Rickey enjoyed watching NASCAR, football, and wrestling. He will be remembered for his kind and helpful nature as he would give anyone the shirt off his back. He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Shetters. Rickey is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Patty Shetters of Estill Springs; children, Rickey Dean Shetters Jr of Estill Springs, and Michelle Clark of Huntland; grandchildren, Michaela Campbell, and Alexis Clark; great-granddaughter, Paislee Campbell; mother, Mabel Ashley Shetters of Estill Springs; siblings, David (Sherry) Shetters of Flintville, William (Linda) Shetters of Belvidere, Tim Shetters of Estill Springs, Donna (David) Finchum of Estill Springs, and Debbie (Ricky) Isbell of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
