June Lawson Funeral services for June Brown Lawson, 87 of Corinth are set for Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – 45 SOUTH with Minister Brad Dillingham officiating the service. Interment will be in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – 45 SOUTH. Born May 2, 1934 in Corinth, MS., June passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her home in Corinth. She was a retired line operator at Wurlitzer and a member of Strickland Church of Christ. June loved her family and friends and enjoyed reading, shopping, board games, game shows, taking care of her cats and visiting with her friends. June is survived by her son, Kelly Anderson (Melissa); daughters, Lisa Busby (Paul) and Jill Stricklen (Jimmy); 6 grandchildren, Vanessa Taylor, Shea Stewart (Matt), Nikki Thompson (Clay), Timothee Busby, Lee Busby (Sheena) and Hannah Schay (Holden); 5 great grandchildren, Colton Taylor, Kyle Thompson, Kendal Stewart, Silas Schay and Lily Beth Schay (who is due in March); brother, Jerry Bill Phillips (Pat); other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her 2nd husband, J. L. Lawson; her 1st husband and father of her children , James Carroll Anderson; father, Elbert Brown; mother, Verdie Phillips (Sylvester); brother, Petey Johns and sister, Louise Mills (J. C.) . Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. June Lawson.
