Garland E. Rivers, 76 of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Rivers was born on November 5th, 1945, to Lawrence Almond and Ruth Lamon Rivers.
Mr. Rivers is survived by his daughters Amanda Ruth Rivers Burgess and Tracie Flowers (Brandon); son Kevin Almond Rivers (Debbie); and brother-in-law Tommy Ashford.
Preceded in death by his parents.
