Northwest Alabama Regional Airport And Contour Airlines Announces New Nonstop Service to Charlotte, NC

MUSCLE SHOALS-Contour Airlines announced plans today to offer new nonstop service from Northwest Alabama Regional Airport (MSL) to Charlotte, NC beginning March 1, 2022. The new service will operate twenty-four round trip flights a week.  Contour will utilize a 30-seat Embraer ERJ135 and Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft configured with a minimum of 36 inches of legroom in every row, which is equivalent to first-class on other domestic carriers.  A press conference will be held at the Airport on Thursday, January 27, 2022.   The public is invited to the event to see the new Contour jet.

 

Charlotte, NC Flights

Daily service to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is the newest option at MSL. Charlotte is American Airlines second largest hub, offering almost 9,000 weekly flights to over 160 destinations, including 117 domestic destinations. Non-stop service to Charlotte will allow for extremely well-timed interline connections, with 8 daily banks of departures and arrivals.
