Judy Robertson Coffey passed away on January 17, 2022. She was born on April 28, 1953, in Bryan, Texas. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baton Rouge, LA and shortly after married Robert Wallace Coffey. She devoted her life to serving Jesus, honoring Wallace, and raising her three children. She was the friend that everyone desired and all who encountered her, loved her! During their time in Baton Rouge, Judy and Wallace worshiped and served at Parkview Baptist Church. After owning an Antique & Flower Shop and retiring from a successful career as a Farm Bureau Agent, she and her husband moved to Lineville, Alabama. It was here that God began to cast her vision for Walker Ranch Ministries as she lived out her dreams on their ranch as an avid horse lover and gardener. She never shied from sharing her faith in Jesus; and her gentle spirit and kind heart were always her guide.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. George L. Robertson and Florence Horne Robertson, brother, Dana Carlton Robertson, and grandson, Walker George Coffey.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wallace Coffey, with whom she spent 51 loving years of marriage; as well as her children, Alisa Coffey of Atlanta, Ga; Jason Coffey (Staci), of Mandeville, LA; and Delaney Groce (Garrett), of Columbus, GA; sister Linda R. Sobers (David) of Lineville, AL; brother Malcolm Robertson (Linda) of Frisco, Tx; as well as eight grandchildren; Morgan West (Eric), Madison Stepherson (Kyle), Wyatt Coffey, Mary Raine Coffey, Joy Coffey, Camille Groce, Olivia Groce, and Callen Groce and four great grandchildren, Charlcey West, Lemon West, Birdie West, and Whit West.
There will be a memorial service celebrating her life at 10:30 AM CST on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Clairmont Springs Baptist Church, 3675 Clairmont Springs Rd., Talladega, AL 35160 followed by a celebration at Walker Ranch, located at 975 McNatt Rd., Lineville, AL 36266 held directly after the service.
