Stephanie “Snooky” Miller, age 64, a resident of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, in Columbia.

 

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on August 3, 1957, in Lebanon, Tennessee, Stephanie was the daughter of the late Willard Arnold Grissom and the late Josephine Hood. She was a true nature enthusiast and loved being outdoors, gardening, watching the birds, growing flowers, raising chickens, and fishing with her husband, Lee.  Together they also enjoyed raising dogs and coon hunting. Stephanie loved music and came from a musical family. She was an animal lover and once trained a pet bird to whistle the theme song to The Andy Griffith Show. Above all, she loved her close-knit family and truly adored her children and grandchildren.

 

She is survived by her husband, Lee Hargrove of Dover, TN, sons, Bill (Michelle) Rader of Roanoke, VA, Tommy Ray Skinner, II of Columbia, TN, brother, Dale (Anita) Grissom of Thompson Station, TN, sisters, Joanne Reaves of Lebanon, TN, Diane (Ralph) Stone of Columbia, TN, grandchildren, Henry Rader, Jackson Rader, Carey Ann Skinner, Tommy Ray Skinner, III, and several nieces and nephews.
