Rhonda Burleson McCaig, age 58, of Cherokee, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. The visitation will be Saturday, January 22, at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Dwight Rivers, Billy George, and Steve McCaig officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, Mississippi.
Rhonda was a native of Corinth, Mississippi and a member of Pride Baptist Church. Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Peggy Jones; grandson, Jayden Davis; her grandmother, Ora Lee Todd; and her sister, Pam Davis.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Frankie McCaig; children, Jennifer Bennett (Raymond) and Rickie Starnes; brother, Jimmy Davis; sister, Tammy Brown (Tony); her grandchildren, Jacob Peters, Jerred Davis, Jamie Leighann Starnes, and Hayden Searcy; and stepdaughter, Susan Hayes (Mike) .
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
