Bernice Gray Cooper, age 81, of Laceys Spring, AL passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, AL. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Chrysler, and a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Vella Ruth Brewer Gray.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cooper of Laceys Spring, AL; eight children, Ricky Butler of Laceys Springs, AL, Steve Butler of Laceys Springs, AL, Tony Hale of Priceville, AL, Chris Hale of Somerville, AL, Breanna Leathers of Hartselle, AL, Gary Cooper of New Hope, AL, Angie Ginn of Owens Cross Roads, AL, and Joel Cooper of New Hope, AL; one brother, Bill Gray of Cookeville, TN; one sister, Janice Jenkins of Toney, AL; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Shady Grove Cemetery at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022, with Danny Gray officiating.
