Aubrey Darrel “Sam” Haley, 87, passed away Sunday January 16, 2022, peacefully at his home in Huntsville, Alabama. He was previously employed with Marshall Space Flight Center/NASA and Lockheed Martin.
He is survived by wife, Betty Jean Hancock Haley; daughters, Shelia Renee Haley Dashoff and Cinda “Cid” Kaye Haley and spouse, Steve “Pyro” Dowdy Lewis; grandson, Mitchell Peyton Dashoff; brother, Jon Haley of Texas; sister, Marilyn Isgrig of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life for Mr. Haley at 3 p.m. on February 5, 2022, at Sherwood Baptist Church, 6600 Old Madison Pike, Huntsville, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either the Alzheimer’s Association, The American Heart Association or to Sherwood Baptist Church.
