Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jean Butler, age 68, will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Douglas Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson County Memory Gardens in Gibson. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 PM until 7 PM.

 

Mrs. Butler, a receptionist for the Jackson Clinic in Milan, former medical transcriptionist, former employee of Jones Manufacturing and member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Milan, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Ellen Patterson; and a brother, Jimmy Patterson.

 

Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband, James A. Butler of Humboldt; a daughter, Deborah Suzanne Cox (Paul) of Humboldt; four sons, Nick Butler (Shawn) of Humboldt, Scott Butler (Sandra) of Cades, Jason Butler and Chad Butler (LaCinda) of Medina; a sister, Linda Harris of Trenton; three brothers, Montie Patterson of Jackson, Johnny Patterson of Lakeland, FL and Joe Patterson of Bradford; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
