Samuel Wayne Bright, age 81, passed away at his residence in Starkville, MS on January 14, 2022. He was retired as the owner of Bright’s Appliance Service. Wayne was a member of the McCarley Baptist Church in Carroll County, MS. He loved working and fishing.
A graveside service and burial are scheduled for Monday, January 17, 2022, in the New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery in Stewart, MS. at 2 p.m. The Brother Mike Stowell will officiate.
Wayne is survived by his daughter Deborah Weeks and her husband, Ken of Starkville; grandchild Ashley Cochran and her husband, Trent; and great grandchild, Raimi Alice Cochran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pressley Bright and Jewell Henderson Bright; brother, Milton Bright; sister, Geneva Coleman.
