Funeral service for Martha Faye Chenault Sivley, age 85, of Decatur, will be Friday, January 14, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at The Church at Stone River with Pastor Ted Amey officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Sivley, who died Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born November 6, 1936, in Speake, to Guy Lemuel Chenault and Ruby Jane Smith Chenault. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Clayton Sivley, her parents, one brother, Willard Chenault, and grandson, Clayton Sivley.
She is survived by one son, Keith Sivley (Susanna) of Huntsville; two daughters, Teresa Sivley Owens and Donna Sivley Underwood, both of Decatur; seven grandchildren, Jessica Borden (Jason), Amanda Richards (Andrew), Santana Cottingham (Anthoney), Gabrielle Davis (Taylor), Trenton Underwood (Savannah), Kinsey Sivley, and Kelton Sivley; and six great-grandchildren, Kaleen Richards, Marlee Borden, EmmaReign Davis, Paislee Underwood, Robert Cottingham, and Houston Davis.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
