Bobby Lofton Williams, age 77 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he was born on November 5, 1944 to the late Ambers Franklin and Bonnie Bell (Walker) Williams. Before his retirement, he was employed by the Franklin County Board of Education in the custodial department. In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed gardening, working in his shop, fishing, and reading. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Speck and Doris A. Seminole. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of fifty -seven years, Bonnie David Williams; children, Brian Keith (Kim Denise) Williams of Decatur, Alabama, David Wayne (Marshia Diane) Williams of Winchester, and Yvonne Deanne (Todd) Friel of Volcano, Hawaii; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ambers F. “AJ” Williams of Fayetteville, Francis M. Bailey of Fayetteville, Sydney Dwight Williams of Park City, and Barbara K. Sullivan of Fayetteville. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 5-8pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating.
