Leonard Kirk, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Ethridge, TN, retired from Independent Life, and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ where he served in the past as an elder and deacon. He was also a member of the Million Dollar Club for Independent Life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Clarence and Cora Olive Staggs Kirk; his wife, Betty Louise Gamble Kirk; three sisters, Viola Ellen Towell, Pearl Esther Anderson, and Opal Olive Wilkinson; and one brother, Clarence Virgil Kirk.
He is survived by one son, Mark Kirk (Sara Jane) of Lewisburg, TN; three granddaughters, Lindsey Beth Tenpenny (Nathan) of Murfreesboro, TN, Kimberly Anne Kirk of Columbia, TN, and Karen Elise Kirk of Lewisburg, TN; several nieces and nephews
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2022, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2022. Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to AGAPE of Nashville.
