Retha Lowry Kidd, age 78, of Leighton, Ala., passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel, with Ralph Coleman and Ernest Emmons officiating.
Mrs. Kidd was a Colbert County native and was a retired administrative assistant with TVA after 38 years. She was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Billy Kidd; her mother, Floretta Landers Lowry; son, William Kidd and wife, Faith; daughter, Susan K. Hannah and husband, Rickey; brother, Dwight Lowry and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Blake Baird, Josh Smithey and Toby Hannah; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers are John Phillip Lowry, Tommy Hammock, Clay Carpenter, Keith Lowry, Billy Hammock and Phil Lowry Jr.
Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia is directing.
