Alecia Mayberry South, age 58 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Back Forty Cowboy Church, she will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Herman Baptist Church Cemetery. Ty Nail and Daniel Keeton will officiate.
Mrs. South was preceded in death by her Mother and Father-Thomas and Imogene Mayberry.
She is survived by her Husband-Verrell South of Jasper; Daughter-Chasidy Estes (Matt) of Jasper; Son-Nicholas South and his fiancé Sarah Batchelor of Jasper; Sister-Angie Hill (Jimmy); Grandchildren-Mason South, Brody South, Fletcher South, Pippa South, Riley Mae Estes and Madeline Claire Estes; Nieces-Dee Dee Mitchell and Jennifer Banks.
