Barbara Diane Everett, age 66 of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at her residence. She was born December 14, 1955 in Huntland and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Flintville. Diane had been employed at TG & Y and ended her working career at Kilby’s Furniture. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays (especially Christmas), gardening, sewing, going to the beach and listening to music. Her grandchildren will remember how very funny their “GiGi” was and how much she loved to laugh. She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Amos O. Everett and Thelma Hood Everett. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William Everett of Winchester; daughters, Nikki (Cameron) Everett Lee of Ooltewah and Brittni Megan (Brandon) Sons of Winchester; grandchildren, Kelton Sons, Kendyl Sons, Ryland Lee and Bryce Lee; parents, C. E. and Barbara Hambrick of Huntland; sister, Gail (Mark) Walls of Huntland; niece, Kelsea Walls of Huntland; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin 11 am Monday, December 27, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 pm Monday in Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Chester Slayton officiating.
