Mrs. Mary Ann Whitt, age 81 of Boaz, passed away at her home Monday, December 20, 2021. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Whitt Hibbs officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 am till the time of service, burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz.
She is survived by her daughters Susanne Newby, Ann Marie Stephens (Lynn), Janice Terrell (Scott), Elizabeth Walker (Marcus), and Pamela Whitt (Pedro Zacarias); son James Whitt (Vickie), sisters Juanita Brand, and Willa Mae Williams; grandchildren Wendi, Jonathon, Autumn, Elena, Madison, Jeremiah, Tenia, and Jalon; great grandchildren Kaina, Dawson, Haizley, Aiden, Dashyla, and Cyrus; and great great grandchild Judsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents William “Bill” and Berta Goggans; husband Gerald David Whitt; brothers David and Frank Goggans, one infant brother; and two infant sisters; and grandson Lee Galimore.
Pallbearers will include her grandsons.
