Franklin Eugene Nix, 79, of Huntsville, Alabama born on October 12, 1942 passed away on Sunday December 19, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital.
Eugene graduated from Huntsville High School in 1961. He served in the United States Army for 2 years before starting his career with the United States Postal Services.
Eugene was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Hall Nix and his parents Lanford and Wilma Laster Nix.
Eugene is survived by his sons Keith Nix (Ellen) of Birmingham, Alabama and Mark Nix (Carolyn) of Huntsville, Alabama. His loving grandchildren Olivia Pariyar (Samir), Allison Nix, Nathan Nix, Will Nix, Anna Claire Nix and Shelby Sanderson (Lexi) will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:30 to 2:00 on Thursday December 23rd, 2021. Burial will follow at Charity Cemetery in Hazel Green Alabama
