Earsten Lee Burks, 76, died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Franklin County, AL to William Ransom and Corene Eloise Mitchell Burks. He worked at Tiffin Motor Homes for 29 years and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 15, 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Bro. Matthew Haney officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Lottie Burks; three daughters, Judy Burks (Roger), Sheila Bryant (Tony) and Jenny Hawkins (Tim); nine grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Laken Brown, Natalie George, Emily George, Kennedy Bryant, Lydia Bryant, Kyle Hawkins, Brady Hawkins and Emma Craft; three great-grandchildren, Addyson Wood, Karoline Porter and Mariah Camper; two brothers, Jerry Burks (Debbie) and Arlis Burks (Kathy) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Huzie, Eartis and Johnny Burks.
Pallbearers will be Tim Craft, Chris Porter, Robert Moomaw, Jeff Burks, Hunter Burks and Zach Hargett.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL and he will lie-in-state Wednesday, December 15, 10-1 at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
