LIMESTONE COUNTY-The Limestone County sheriff’s Office issued a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect on December 4 that has been charged several felony charges including possession of a controlled substance:

“On December 4, 2021, Deputies responded to the area of Parker Rd. and Hwy 72, on a report of a white female in a black Dodge truck stealing mail.
Deputies Austin Roberson and Hayden Pierce spotted the truck on Hwy 72 leaving the area. Once Deputies Roberson and Pierce turned around to stop the truck, the driver quickly turned off her lights and pulled in a driveway. The deputies located the driver, pulled into the driveway and blocked the vehicle. As the deputies approached the truck, the driver, which later was identified as Davis, exited and refused to follow lawful commands, to show them her hands.
Davis then pulled her pants down and urinated in public, in front of the deputies. They continued to give her verbal commands, which she refused to follow. Upon pulling her pants up, the deputies attempted to place Davis in custody, and she began to fight them. Davis threw a glass meth pipe and continued to fight the deputies. After the struggle, the deputies placed her in handcuffs.
The deputies located stolen mail in Davis’ pockets, and in her truck. Davis was also found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. Investigators interviewed Davis and learned the location of additional stolen mail. Davis was found in possession of over 100 stolen checks, as well as stolen credit cards and bank account information for many victims. As the investigation continues, Investigators will be working to return mail to the victims. It appears the affected area is confined to Parker Rd., Ripley Rd., New Cut Rd., Quinn Rd., Seven Mile Post Rd., Nicole Way, and Matthew Way.
Kathryn Mareen Davis, of Five Points, TN, has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Lewdness, Resisting Arrest, and Trafficking in Stolen Identities. Davis is being held in the Limestone County Detention Center on a $9,000 bond.”
STATEMENT FROM LIMESTONE COUNTY SHERIFF, JOSHUA MCLAUGHLIN
