Walter “Gator” Bumpus, age 57, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of New Bedford, MA, and a retired commercial fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bumpus.
He is survived by his wife, Kristen Bumpus of Lawrenceburg, TN; four daughters, Bobbie Joe Pharris of Nashville, TN, Christina Silva of New Bedford, MA, Angel Heart of New Bedford, MA, and Jessica Spousta of Fall River, MA; three sons, Christopher Coyle of Lawrenceburg, TN, Brett Adam of Canada, and Tyler Choquet of New Bedford, MA; and his mother, Esther Bumpus of Missouri.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
