Michael Wayne Ayers, age 67, of Henryville, TN passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, and a truck driver for Venture Express.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. P. and Katherine Majella Grimes Ayers; and one brother, Kerry Ayers.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Missie” Ayers of Henryville, TN; four daughters, Erin Terry of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Shea Adams (Brian) of Summertown, TN, Jill McDonald (David) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Angela French (Foley) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Josh Terry (Sarah) of New Market, MD; eleven grandchildren, Jayson Michael, Sidda, Bear, Thatcher, Greer, Madden, Triston, Tucker, Ellie, Brock, and Brook; four great-grandchildren; four siblings, Charlynn Calton (Stoney), Glen Ayers (Kathy), LeAnn Shrader (Kenneth), and Roy Ayers (Sandy), all of Summertown, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, December 04, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 04, 2021, with Tim Cunningham officiating.
