Danny “Stinger” King departed this life on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the age of 74 years, 6 months, and 13 days. He was born in Selmer, Tennessee on May 8, 1947, the son of the late Charles Smith King and Mary Louise Ward King.
Danny was self-employed as a mechanic, a job he enjoyed. He raised horses and chickens, and was a member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church.
Danny is survived by his sons, Cody Smith and Joey King, both of Adamsville, Tennessee, and his former wife, Dorothy Barnes King.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a brother, Bob King and his ex-wife, Cherry Smith.
