Mr. Larry Higginbotham age 73 of Scottsboro passed away at his home following a short illness. Larry was retired from the Scottsboro Water Sewer and Gas Board where he worked at the North Sauty Creek water treatment plant.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 am until 1 pm at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama. Funeral services for Larry be held beginning at 1 pm from the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home with Bro Neil Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Larry is survived by his sister Marsha Brown, Niece Chasity (Mark) McCreless, great niece Marla McCreless. Sister-in-laws Pam (Jerry)
Hyde, Kim (Trey) Browder, Brother-in-law Chris Amos and several other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Higginbotham, and his parents Newsom and Ophelia Higginbotham.
