George Wesley “Wes” White, age 83, of Decatur, died Sunday, November 14, 2021, at his residence. His family will host a memorial service at a later date. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. White was born April 12, 1938, in Caledonia, MS to John Deamer White and Annie Laura Chambless White. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Brenda Pridmore. Mr. White was an architect.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandi Dixon (Buck) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Toni Tidwell (Brad) of Decatur; five grandchildren, Presley Plemons and Chandler Dixon, both of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Alex Tidwell, Olivia Tidwell, and Sebastian Tidwell, all of Decatur; and one great-grandchild, Chryssi Plemons of Gulf Breeze, FL.
