John Maxwell Busby, age 85 of Parrish, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Ridgeview Health Services.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Busby Cemetery. Phillip Jones will officiate.
Mr. Busby was preceded in death by his Father-John Paul Busby; Mother-Evelyn Custred Busby; Son-Buck Duane Busby.
He is survived by his Ex-Wife-Annette Busby; Daughters-Dana Thrasher of Jasper, Debbie Kiker (Randy) of Hueytown and Jerri Pendley (Nicky) of Parrish; Sons-Derek Busby (Cindy) of Goodsprings and Chad Busby; Sisters-Paula Jent (Jimmy) of Goodsprings, Karen Gant of Jasper and Janice Sullivan of Tuscaloosa; Grandchildren-Grant Busby, Harper Busby, Drake Busby, Jordan Busby, Joshua Jackson, Chase Pendley, Cody Freeman, Johna Busby, Meagan Kiker, Austin Kiker and Tanner Kiker; 4 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grant Busby, Drake Busby, Jordan Busby, Josh Jackson, Chase Pendley, Butch Jent, Kris Sullivan and Shane Gant.
