Funeral for Helen Malinda Carpenter White, 94, of Danville will be Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Denny Bowling and Russell Gourley officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. White, who died Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at her residence, was born, January 4, 1927, to Elmer Russell Carpenter and Tommie Malinda Radford Carpenter. She was a member of County Line Church of Christ and a retired LPN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband – J. P. White, daughter – Shirley Latham, brothers – Everett Carpenter, Leon Carpenter, Hillard Carpenter, sisters – Opal Oliver, Cathleen White, Tommielene Carpenter, Eleanor Hudson, Mary Giddons, Betty Hudson, Mildred Gourley
Survivors include:
Sons – Joe (Carleen) White, Jimmy White
Daughter – Charlotte White
Grandchildren – Danny (Connie) White, Michael (Jessica) Malone, Timmy (Melody) White, Kimberly White, Jeremy (Jessica) White, Carla (Franklin) Kirkham, Chad (Katrina) Smith
Brothers – Dale (Pat) Carpenter
12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren
