Maria Teresa Alfara Norris, age 47, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, November 07, 2021 at UAB after a courageous battle with cancer.
A visitation with the family will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. A burial mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Vincent Bresowar presiding over the service.
Maria proudly served in the U.S. Army. She was the most selfless woman who cared about others way more than herself. She was a true woman of God who loved her children and family and would do anything for them. Her family will cherish the many wonderful memories with her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Arman Dionicio Norris, Alondra Delsy Camila Alfaro; parents, Mario Alfaro & Delsy Alfaro Garay; sister, Marta Alfaro; nephew, Mathayus Stewart, niece, Karyn Stewart (CJ Foster); great-nephew, Austin Foster; cousin, Alfredo Alfaro; and a host of other family and friends.
