Virginia Biddle Lasseter passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Williams Southside Memorial Park with Blake Jones officiating. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
Virginia was known as a sweet, caring lady who was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a very strong person who loved life, though she had suffered tremendous loss through the years. She was a pillar of strength and always kept moving forward, no matter what. She was a wonderful wife, mother and MiMi, and she loved her family, church family and friends with all her heart. Virginia was a member of Rainbow Church of Christ. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Lona Biddle, her husband of 53 years, Jack Lasseter, son, Tommy Lasseter, daughter Carrie Wallen and grandson Will Stroup.
She is survived by her son Paul (Ginger) Lasseter; daughter Susan Lasseter; grandchildren Mandy Lasseter, David (Jessica) Lasseter, Alex Wallen, Sam Wallen, Jackson Lasseter, and her great grandchildren, Luke, Benjamin, Charlotte and Melody; sisters, Lona (Gary) Harrah, Peggy Williams and Barbara Standish; brother- in- law, Robert (Sandra) Lasseter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rainbow Church of Christ, 2201 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, AL 35901 or your favorite charity.
