Grady Boyd Martin

Grady Boyd Martin, age 64 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Grady was born on March 22, 1957 in Huntland to the late Fred Martin and Louise Sims Martin Payne. He loved to watch Nascar and his favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Grady was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. He was a quite and hardworking man who had a great sense of humor. Grady enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his fur babies Lilo, Baby girl, Peanut, and Miss Louise. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Oakley, Harold, and Felix Martin; and two sisters, JoAnn Atnip and Dixie Sims. He is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Priscilla Mayo Martin; two sons, Jeremy (Kristina) Martin and Jason (Star) Mayo; three daughters, Stephanie (Jess) Nobles, April (Timmy) Stegall, and Dawana (Brian)Morris; nine grandchildren, Sophia, Brittany, Andrew, Trent, Douglas, Jonathan, Megan, Nicholas, and Luna Grace; one great grandchild, Mason; four brothers, Mark(Vickie) Martin, Glen Martin, Billy Martin, and Kenneth “Bub” (Linda) Martin; three sisters, Linda (Henry) Roop, Debbie (Ronnie) Farmer, and Gladys (Joe) Keller; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Atnip and Davis Sims; one sister-in-law, Ruthie Martin; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Joe Plunkett officiating.
