Funeral services for Pastor William Eric “Hoss” Twilley of Bremen, Alabama will be 11:00 A.M. Sunday, November 7th at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Reverend Darryl Banks will officiate. Burial will follow at Cold Springs Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. at the church Saturday, November 6th.

 

Pastor Twilley was born on December 26, 1969 in Jefferson County. He died at the age of 51 on November 3, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He enjoyed anything to do with horses, dirt track racing, anything broken whether it be cars or people and helping anyone in need. Aside from being the current pastor at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church, he was also a truck driver for My Way Transportation. Above all he loved Jesus.

 

Survivors include his parents, William Lacy and Peggy (Alexander) Twilley; wife, Tara Lawanda Twilley; daughters, Amanda Faith (James Michael) Hayes and Heather Nichole Twilley; grandchildren, James Miles Hayes and William Maverick Hayes; brother, Adam Lacy Twilley; father-in-law, James Morgan Mays; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Pastor Twilley was preceded in death by his son, Travis Daniel Twilley; grandparents, Frank & Mary Twilley, Johnnie & William Alexander and Bill & Evidene Dowdy; and mother-in-law, Wanda Mays.
