Lonnie Allen, 79 of Allen’s Crossroads passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the Hospice Family Care Facility in Huntsville. Lonnie was born October 17, 1942, in Marshall County the son of John H. Allen and Minnie Bell Lemley Allen. He was a graduate of Arab High School and married to the late Nina Durham Allen.
He is survived by his Sons: Kenny Allen (Linda) and Rodney Allen (Janet); Daughter-in-law: Amy Allen; Sister Nella Jo Wood; Brother: Larry Allen (Sheila); Sister-in-law: Jimmie Ann Allen; Six Grandchildren: Christopher Allen (Katie), Jake Allen (Jada), Jordan Broussard (George), Alyssa Allen, Kendall Allen and Ryan Allen; Step Grandchildren: Laney Hancock and Sara Hancock. Twelve Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Nina Allen, Son: Ronnie Allen, Granddaughter: Janna Allen, Brother: Nolan Allen.
Lonnie will be laid to rest next to his wife at the Mt. Olive Cemetery with a private family service, Gober Funeral Chapel assisting the Allen Family.
