Bobby Joe Harrod, age 88, of Guin Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Guin, Alabama on Saturday, April 22, 1933 to Rufus Harrod and Dolaris Hinson Harrod
Visitation will be from 12-2 P.M. Wednesday, October 27. 2021 at Marion County Funeral Home, the service will follow 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Kent Nelson officiating and burial at Gu-Win Heritage cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Harrod; son, Steve Harrod; siblings, Johnnie Harrod, Clarence Harrod, Louise McCamey, Lola May Gann, Clarie ‘Tootie” Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Michael Harrod (wife, Sherrie); grandchildren, Chris Harrod (wife Kelly) of Durant, IA, James Harrod of Lalona, IL ,Robert Harrod of CA; great-grandchildren, Mason, Ava, and Ellie Harrod; brother, Tom Harrod (wife, Pat) of Calvert City, KY, sisters, Mary Bryant, of Winfield, AL, Francis Johnson of Winfield, AL, Hildred Ellis of Selma, AL, Margene (Jimmy) Martin of Fayette AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
