“Becky” Jeannie Rebecca Coutta Jacobs, age 49 of Midway, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at STRHS-Winchester. She was born on December 15, 1971 in Huntsville, AL to the late Jimmy M. Coutta and Norma Geraldine (Arnold) Coutta. Becky was the office manager at STRHS Orthopedic and Spine for many years and was a member of New Center Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling, horseback riding, drawing, hiking, planting different kinds of plants, and spending time with family and friends. Becky loved to laugh and will be remembered as a loving mom to everyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Duane Coutta; half-brother, Larry Coutta; and several aunts and uncles. Becky is survived by her husband, Jim Jacobs of Midway; children, Nichole (Blake) Stines of Winchester; Summer Stines of Winchester; Dennis (Lori) Jacobs, Carla (Josh) Green, Eliza Jacobs all of Midway; grandchildren, Carmen and Josie Green; brother, Timmy (Anita) Coutta of Winchester; half siblings, Johnny (Jan) Coutta of Gainesville, Jeannie Coutta of El Paso, TX; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Carlette Jacobs of Midway; sister-in-law, Betty Gattis of Winchester; brother-in-law, Tim (Sallie) Jacobs of Midway; nieces and nephews, Jenny (Dallas) Felton of Winchester, Jennifer (Alex) Arnold of Murfreesboro, Scott Coutta of Winchester, Ashley (Adam) Coutta of Winchester, Amber-Leigh (Cage) Whittemore of Decherd, Jerrikka Gifford of Winchester; best friends, Pam Brayton and Marcia Long; host of aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 2:00pm with Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating.
