Harold Stephen “Steve” Elliott, 66, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital. He was born on June 29, 1955 to Bo and Beatrice Elliott. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Bay, AL. He was a dispatcher for a trucking company for 35 years.
Services will be Monday, October 11, 2:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al with Bro. Rick Murrell and Bro. Mark Daily officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by two sons- Blake Elliott and Brandon Elliott (Rebecca); three grandchildren- Ava, Layla and Jude Elliott; one sister- Ella Daily; one brother- Jack Elliott (Brenda) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Rhonda Elliott, father and mother-in-law, Chevis and Olive Gibson, brothers-Chester, Bill, Tommy and Roy Elliott and a sister, Ann Marie Mauldin.
Pallbearers will be Randy Elliott, Tracy Elliott, Phillip Cooper, Scott Lucas, Mark Daily and Doug Ray.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Mauldin, Mike Elliott, Tra Elliott, Andy Elliott and Chris Brazil.
Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL..
