Tonya Anna Davis Steele, age 43 of Cowan, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at STRHS-Winchester. She was born July 5, 1978 in Winchester to James “Zeke” Davis and Linda Gale Bolin Davis. Tonya had worked as a caregiver at New Life for the past 8 years and was a member of White Oak Grove Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, going to flea markets, and her animals, Gizmo, Buddy and Jax. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Mable Bolin, William Davis and Annie Laura Davis, and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband of six years, Robert Steele of Cowan; parents, James “Zeke” and Linda Davis of Cowan; sister, Tammy Slatton of Cowan; brother, Tim Davis of Sevierville; niece, Paige (Tyler) Hill of Cowan; nephew, Dakota Davis of Cowan; and great-nephew, Knox Hill of Cowan. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, October 11, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Jonathan Blazier officiating.
