Richard Howell Parrish, age 70 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 14th, with Pastor David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Parrish Family Cemetery at 2728 Long Street Avenue in Pleasant View with Dickey Parrish, Clyde Parrish, Alex Berry, Liam Berry, Noah Schumacher, and Frank Jackson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 13th from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Thursday from 10:00AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.
Mr. Parrish was born on May 18th, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late James and Zelma Smith Parrish. He owned and operated Parrish Equipment for over 35 years. Mr. Parrish loved riding horses and he especially loved his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Julie Parrish; sons, Dickey (Angela) Parrish, and Clyde (Ashley) Parrish; brothers, Jimmy (Stephanie) Parrish, and Scott Parrish; sisters, Edna Holland, Linda (Butch) Hale, and Kay (Joe) Campopiano; grandchildren, Alex (Shelbey) Berry, Liam Berry, Megan (Noah) Parrish, Willow (Gavin) Parrish, and Gracie Parrish; and great-grandchildren, James & Karleigh.
