Nancy Charlene Gladney, age 77, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, October 04, 2021 at her residence.
Charlene was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord since early on in life. In her early 20’s, she worked in Christian Publishing as well as working as a clerical worker. She was a prayer warrior that you could always count on to pray for you. She taught Bible classes at the Restoration Ranch, led Bible studies at the Youth Detention Centers weekly for 25 plus years, and enjoyed weekly Bible studies with her friends. She was very talented, loving to write music and she had a beautiful singing voice. She enjoyed being a member of a quartet and later worked as a real estate agent. Charlene had the heart of a servant, always looking to see who she might could help along the way. It was a blessing just to know her and she will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 07, 2021, at Tharptown Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benny & Lena (Seay) Gladney; brother, Keith Gladney; grandmother, Carrie Hall; uncles, Frank Seay, Russ Seay; aunt, Callie Hall; and several cousins.
Charlene leaves to cherish her memory, brother, Byron Gladney (wife, Sue); cousins, Freddy Hall, Charles Seay, Vic Seay; special friends, Geral Baker, Ann Hill, Charlotte Teas; and a host of other friends and family.
