Nancy Yvonne Hamm, age 61, of Red Bay, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at her residence.
Nancy loved taking care of people since a very young age. She was a nurse her entire life. She always opened her house to anyone that needed somewhere to stay. She had a heart of gold and was always giving to others.
Her memorial service will be at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Janet Klausemeyer and Lawrence Mullins; her two sons, Jeffery Steven Dill and Kevin Lee Hamm; and brother, Jeffrey William Mullins.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 19 1/2 years, Danny Hamm; her children, Andy Mullins (wife, Debbie), Katie Gronniger (boyfriend, Zak Kirk), Chris Gronniger (wife, Molly), Amy Francis (husband, Jason), Jeffery Dick, Jennifer Jackson (husband, Lowell), Mike Mullins (wife Katlyne), Tamra Whitworth (husband, JC); her grandchildren, Kennedy Thornton (fiancé, Tyler), Konnor Thornton, Abbigail Swingle, Jaden Mullins, Eric Francis, Claire Francis, Carson Gronniger, Shelby Gronniger, Tesia Dill, Gracie Jackson, Koty Mills, Olivia Mullins, and countless others that called her Granny; great-granddaughter, Laura Horsley, Lana Horsley, Liberty Horsley, Kyra Dill, Phillip Whitworth, Autumn Jackson, Braylee Brown; brothers, Dan Mullins, Steve Mullins, Dennis Mullins; sister, Susan Broadhurst; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The family wanted to give a special thanks to everyone at Amedisys Hospice for the care and compassion that everyone gave to our family. Also, a special thanks to the team at UAB Hospital, and very special thanks to Marsha and Sharon.
