Funeral service Pamela Joy Smith Tarpley, “Pam,” will be Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00pm at Wales Baptist Church in Pulaski, TN. with Brother Kevin Wells officiating with burial in the Giles Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pulaski with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time on Saturday at the Church.
Pam was called to Heaven on Monday, September 27, 2021, with family at her side. She was born on April 24, 1961 in Pulaski, TN. to Doyle Edward Smith Sr. and Cleo Inez Smith. She married Scott Tarpley of Pulaski, TN on April 7, 1979. She was kind and generous in helping others in need. She loved to sing, play instruments, travel, fish, cook, and watch her grandchildren play sports. She deeply loved her family, including all her beautiful extended families, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She believed her loved ones were her “little sunshines!” She had a zest for life that no one else could measure.
Pam was preceded in her death by her parents and a brother Doyle Edward Smith Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Tarpley; three daughters, twins, Tabatha Tarpley (Daniel Berry), Misty Jones(Jeremy), and Brittney Halbrooks(Ryan); a sister, Janet Dunavant; Step-mother, Carolyn Smith; Step-brothers, Billy Jo Griggs (Theresa) and James Lynn Griggs (Donna); a sister-in-law: Shirley Smith, her Grandchildren; Skylar Tarpley (Katharyn), Steven Jones, Cayden Bolton, Shelby Jones, Jayden Bolton, Ava Smith, Braxton Halbrooks, Kayla Smith, and Brelynn Joy Halbrooks, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
