David Scott Frost, age 50, from Russellville, Alabama, passed away September 27, 2021. Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Mt. Joy Church, Phil Campbell, and service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Ireland Cemetery, Haleyville with Chris Frost officiating.
David was preceded in death by his daughter, Brooke Frost; mother, Maxine Frost; father, Earvin Frost; brothers, Richard Frost, Timmy Frost, and Jeff Frost; sister, Jannie Walker; and nephews, Craig Ergle and Jason Ergle.
Survivors include his son, Grant Frost; granddaughter, Scarlett Johnson; brother, Michael Frost (Crystal); and sister, Joann Ergle (Richard).
David enjoyed playing the guitar, and spending time with his family. He was a Tik-Tok sensation with his “Moonshine Legend”. In 1999, he wrote a song “Cassie Said Yes” about the Columbine School shooting which was recorded at Fame Studios.
