Melinda Annette Hanback, age 55, of Tuscumbia, passed away September 27, 2021. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 30, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward and Jimmie Ruth Gilchrist.
Survivors include her brothers, Phillip Gilchrist (Carol) and Robby Gilchrist; nieces, Amber Nicole Davenport, Malia Gilchrist, and Alana Gilchrist; and nephew, Tony Dale Gilchrist.
Melinda loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed laughing. She loved everything outdoors, including fishing and cook-outs.
