Winnie Ruth Wheeler Ditto, made her transition on Monday, September 27, 2021, in the presence of her two daughters Joanne Ditto Carter and Rhonda Ditto Dodson, at the Terrace Assisted Living in Priceville. She was born September 2, 1930, fourth of eight children to Horace and Flarrie Clark Wheeler. In 1948 she was joined in marriage to Eugene Debs Ditto and they resided together on Brindlee Mountain until his death in 2006.
The union created a legacy of descendants: daughters: Joanne and Rhonda (Rick), Four Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren. Besides her beloved husband, Winnie Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside Service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Union Grove Cemetery in Lacey’s Spring, with Gober Funeral Chapel Directing.
