Jerry Blankenship age 78, of Arab passed away Sunday Sept. 26, 2021, at his residence. Jerry was born on June 9, 1943, in Marshall County, AL the Son of Ules and Verdis Ellene Smith Blankenship. He was a 1961 graduate of Fairview High School and worked, before retiring, as a fork- lift operator for Wal-Mart Distribution. He was a member of Grandiflora Church of Christ. Survivors include his Wife: Brenda Blankenship of Arab; Son: Jerry Wayne Blankenship of Arab; Brother: Harold Douglas Blankenship of Arab; Granddaughter: Shelby Lou Blankenship and Several Nieces, Nephews, other family and friends. Funeral Service will be Wed. Sept. 29, 2021, at 2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Ronald Earwood officiating. Burial will follow in Brookwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM. Pallbearers will be: Junior Plunkett, Kenneth Plunkett, Alvie Plunkett, Jody Latham, Larkin Earwood, Heath Benson and Anthony Hicks.
