Brenda Hill BlackBrenda Hill Black, age 69 of Estill Springs, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at STRHS-Winchester. She was born July 10, 1952 in Winchester to the late Edgar Lee Hill and Johnnie Mae Saylor Hill. Brenda was a member of Roarks Cove Baptist Church and had been employed at Tennessee Apparel and Lanier. She enjoyed going to auctions and yard sales to add to her antique collection and traveling to Gatlinburg. She was a very happy, kind-hearted and stoic lady who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, The Waltons, and the Hallmark Channel, especially the Hallmark Christmas movies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Hill and Wayne Hill. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, William Black of Estill Springs; children, Sherry Hubbard of Manchester, Darrell Stevens of Estill Springs and Billy Joe Black of Cowan; grandchildren, Dallas Black, Zack Black, Hillary Black, Kristan Marcrom, Tracy Stevens and Jeffrey Sons; great-grandchildren, Abby Stevens, Trace Stevens, Ty Stevens and Trey Stevens; former daughter-in-law, Lenzi Black of Winchester; sister, Pat Hill Davis of Decherd; brother, Andy Hill of Cowan; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. David McGee officiating.
