Millard Wayne McClung, age 73, of Gardendale, AL. formerly of Haleyville, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday September 21, 2021. He passed away at his residence with family by his side. Millard was born March 8, 1948.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday September 25, 2021 at 1:00PM at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville, AL., with Bro. Ricky Mann officiating. Pallbearers, Keith McClung, John Duncan, Miles Duncan, Lance Duncan, David Benefield and Mike Fruendt.
He worked many years in the Manufactured Housing Industry where he worked in sales, as sales manager and general manager. After a short semi-retirement, he returned back to the industry in sales until he permanent retirement.
Millard was an avid Alabama Fan. He could not wait until fall for football season where he and some of his closet friends would spend Saturdays cheering on the Tide!
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vicki Morgan McClung; grandchildren, Megan (Tony) Albertini of Cottondale, AL. and Christopher McGaughy of Brookwood, AL.; great grandchildren,, Nova, Cal, Luna and Tristan Albertini; brothers, Cleo (Kathy) McClung of Haleyville, Royce (Chun Mei) Duncan of Huntsville and Terry (Mary) Duncan of Haleyville; sister, Myra McCarley Bray of Hamilton; uncle, Bill (Verna Lee) Bridgmon of Haleyville; his adorable yorkie Baylee and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Leigh McClung; parents, Clerance “Pop” and Lucy “Granny” McClung and birth mother, Alice Umfress; brother, Ben McClung; sister, Linda Duncan Baker; brother in law, Clay Baker and his beloved furbaby Holly.
